Our Story

Alabama Custom Christmas Ginger Cake

In Alabama, Christmas has always been more than a season — it’s a feeling. It’s the warmth of family kitchens, the scent of ginger and spices in the air, and the joy of gathering around something made with love.

Alabama Custom Christmas Ginger Cake was born from that tradition.

What started as a simple holiday recipe, passed down and perfected over time, became a way for us to share comfort, celebration, and Southern hospitality with others. Every ginger cake we make is handcrafted, slow-baked, and carefully decorated to reflect the heart of Christmas and the soul of Alabama.

We believe a cake should tell a story — of family, of togetherness, and of moments worth remembering. That’s why we use quality ingredients, warm holiday spices, and custom designs that make each cake as special as the people it’s made for.

From family tables and community gatherings to thoughtful gifts and holiday celebrations, our ginger cakes are more than desserts — they’re part of the memory.

This Christmas, we’re honored to be part of your tradition.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. James puts his heart and soul into his creations. He even lights them from the inside. After the sale, he makes himself readily available to answer any questions you have and he calls you to tell you when it’s going to be delivered and stays in contact with you to make sure it was properly delivered.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were looking for a Gluten Free holiday treat that would make our niece's family thrill as much as all of their non-GF cousins. James to the rescue! With focus and dedication he followed up and delivered a true triumph. And I had the fun of getting to know him a bit, as well. The entire experience brought joy.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this bakery. Their gingerbread creations are on an entirely different level, true works of art. We ordered a custom gingerbread home, and they somehow captured every detail with incredible craftsmanship, creativity, and charm. It wasn’t just a dessert; it was a showpiece that everyone was talking about.

You can feel the love and thoughtfulness in every element, from the perfectly spiced gingerbread to the intricate icing work that looks like it belongs in a holiday magazine. The experience from start to finish was just as impressive. James, the team lead, is kind, responsive, and genuinely passionate about what he does.

If you’re looking for something unique, festive, and beautifully made, this is the place. A custom gingerbread home from here is pure holiday joy. Highly, highly recommend!
